The Midwife in Action's Association (MAA) supports midwives to grow, strengthen, and promote the midwifery model of care. Through our projects, we improve the health of women, gender-diverse people, and newborns, empower communities, and advance gender equality.

We are committed to embedding midwife-led care in Burundi by inspiring leadership, strengthening community health, promoting entrepreneurship, and supporting integrated socio-economic development.
